Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern your relationship with the operator of the Magic Red online gaming services made available through magicred-play.ca (the "Website"), and set out the legally binding rules that apply when you access or use the Website or place any wagers. These Terms are effective as of 1 January 2026 and supersede all earlier versions applicable to the Website, without prejudice to your accrued rights.
By creating an account, using the Website or clicking any "I agree" button, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms, as well as the additional policies referenced herein, including the terms and bonus policy hosted on the official Magic Red site at https://magicred.com/info/terms/. If you do not agree, you must not use the Website.
Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:
- Operator: Aspire Global International LTD, a limited company forming part of the NeoGames / Aristocrat group, licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority ("MGA") under licence MGA/CRP/148/2007 for non-Ontario Canadian players, together with the relevant Aspire Global group entity authorized by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario ("AGCO") and iGaming Ontario for Ontario players.
- Website: The online interface at magicred-play.ca and any related Magic Red-branded Canadian interface that provides access to the Magic Red casino and betting services (including any mobile or app versions).
- Magic Red: The online gaming brand "Magic Red" operated by the Operator and made accessible to Canadian users via the Website.
- User or Player: Any natural person who accesses or uses the Website, whether or not they register an Account.
- Account: A personal, single-user account registered by a Player on the Website and approved by the Operator.
- Games: Any casino games, slots, table games, live dealer games, fixed-odds betting or other gambling products offered on the Website.
- Bet or Wager: Any stake in money or money's worth placed on any Game or betting market on the Website.
- Bonus: Any funds, free spins, free bets, cashbacks or other promotional value credited by the Operator that is subject to specific conditions, including wagering requirements.
- Promotion: Any bonus offer, tournament, competition, loyalty programme, or special campaign publicised on the Website or by e-mail/SMS.
- Payment Method: Any card, bank account, e-wallet, voucher, intermediary account, cryptocurrency wallet or similar facility used to deposit or withdraw funds.
- Ontario Player: A Player physically located in the Province of Ontario who accesses Magic Red services offered under AGCO / iGaming Ontario regulation.
- Non-Ontario Canadian Player: A Player located in Canada but outside Ontario who accesses Magic Red services provided under the Operator's MGA licence.
- Applicable Law: The laws and regulations that govern these Terms as described in the "Governing Law & Jurisdiction" section.
- Business Day: Any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or official public holiday in the relevant governing jurisdiction.
Account Registration
Eligibility
- Age and capacity: You may only open an Account if you are:
- at least 18 years old and of legal gambling age in your province or territory of residence; and
- for Ontario Players, at least 19 years old, in line with AGCO/iGaming Ontario rules.
- Location and legality: You may not register or use the Website where doing so is illegal under Applicable Law. Ontario Players may be required to use a dedicated Ontario-facing Magic Red site and will be subject to additional local rules.
- One account policy: You may hold only one Account with Magic Red for Canadian use. Multiple Accounts, including those created under different names or e-mails, are prohibited and may lead to closure and forfeiture of Bonuses and winnings.
Registration and verification (KYC/AML)
- Information you provide: When registering you must provide accurate, current and complete information, including at minimum your legal name, date of birth, address, e-mail and, where requested, phone number. You must promptly update your details if they change.
- Know Your Customer ("KYC") checks: In line with MGA, AGCO, UK Gambling Commission and other regulatory expectations, the Operator applies enhanced anti-money laundering ("AML") controls. You may be asked at registration or later to provide documents such as:
- Government-issued photo ID (passport, driver's licence, national ID);
- Proof of address (utility bill, bank statement, tax letter); and
- Source of funds/wealth evidence (pay slips, bank statements, business accounts, sale contracts, etc.).
- Refusal and closure: The Operator may decline to open an Account, or may close or restrict an existing Account, in order to comply with AML/CTF laws, regulatory requirements, internal risk controls, or responsible gambling policies. This reflects group-wide compliance measures informed by regulatory oversight, including previous enforcement actions against group entities in other jurisdictions.
Account security and management
- Login credentials: You must keep your username, password and any additional security credentials confidential and not share them with any third party. You are responsible for all activity conducted through your Account unless the Operator has failed to use reasonable security measures.
- Unauthorized access: If you suspect that another person knows your credentials or that your Account has been compromised, you must immediately change your password and notify customer support. The Operator may freeze the Account while investigating.
- Self-exclusion & limits: Tools such as deposit limits, loss limits, time-outs and self-exclusion are available in accordance with the Responsible Gaming policy at https://magicred.com/info/responsible-gaming/ and, for Ontario Players, Ontario-specific tools. Applying these tools may affect your ability to receive Bonuses or reopen your Account.
- Account closure: You may request closure at any time via the Website or customer support. Subject to AML/CTF checks and regulatory requirements, the Operator will pay out any remaining real-money balance (excluding Bonuses and locked funds) using an appropriate Payment Method.
Betting & Gameplay Rules
General game rules
- Game-specific rules: Each Game or betting market may have its own rules, pay tables and instructions provided by the Operator or game supplier. By playing, you agree to the applicable game rules, which form part of these Terms.
- Random Number Generator: Outcomes for non-live Games are determined by a certified random number generator ("RNG"). The Operator uses Games from licensed providers and takes reasonable steps to ensure fairness and technical integrity, subject to independent or regulatory testing where required.
- Time of conclusion: A Bet is considered concluded when the Game software records the result on the Operator's servers, even if display issues occur on your device.
Placing, accepting and cancelling bets
- Placing Bets: Bets are placed when you select an amount, confirm the Bet and it is accepted by the Operator's systems. You are responsible for checking that the Bet details are correct before confirming. All Bets are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise.
- Minimum/maximum stakes: The Operator may set minimum and maximum stakes per Game, per Bet or per Player. Current limits are shown within each Game or in the cashier. The Operator may adjust limits at any time, subject to Applicable Law and without prior notice for individual Bets.
- Modification and cancellation: Once a Bet has been accepted by the Operator's systems, it generally cannot be cancelled or changed by you. In limited circumstances (for example, an obvious pricing error, Game malfunction or regulatory requirement) the Operator may void, adjust or cancel a Bet, in whole or in part, and either:
- return the original stake; or
- settle the Bet at the correct terms that should have applied.
Conduct, collusion and chat rules
- Fair play: You must not engage in cheating, collusion, advantage play that exploits obvious errors, use of automated "bots", or any form of fraud. The Operator may use automated and manual tools to detect such behaviour and may suspend or close Accounts, void Bets and withhold funds pending investigation and regulatory reporting.
- Live casino and chat: Where chat functions or live dealer interactions exist, you must:
- abstain from insults, threats, harassment, hate speech or discriminatory language;
- not advertise other sites, services or products;
- not share personal data (yours or others') or solicit such data; and
- not disrupt Games or interfere with other Players or staff.
- Game errors and malfunctions: If a Game malfunctions or a technical error occurs, all Bets and payouts affected by that malfunction may be declared void. The Operator will restore your balance to the state prior to the malfunction and may temporarily suspend the affected Game.
Bonus Terms
Bonus activation and eligibility
- Activation: Bonuses may require you to opt in, enter a bonus code, click a specific button, or make a qualifying deposit. The exact conditions (including minimum deposit, timeframe and eligibility) are set out in the promotional materials and the bonus policy at https://magicred.com/info/bonus-policy/.
- Eligibility restrictions: Certain Promotions may be limited to specific user segments (for example, new Players only, Non-Ontario Canadian Players, or Ontario Players where permitted by AGCO rules). The Operator may exclude or limit individual Players or groups at its reasonable discretion, subject to Applicable Law.
- One Bonus at a time: Unless explicitly stated otherwise, only one active welcome or deposit Bonus may apply to your Account at any time. Loyalty rewards, cashbacks or free spins may run concurrently if the specific terms allow.
Wagering requirements and time limits
- Wagering requirements: Bonuses and any winnings derived from them may be subject to wagering requirements before they can be converted to withdrawable cash. The size and nature of such requirements (for example, "x times the Bonus amount") are specified in the relevant offer. Different Games may contribute differently toward wagering, and some Games may be excluded entirely.
- Time limits: Bonuses typically expire if wagering requirements are not met within the period stated in the offer or bonus policy (for example, a defined number of days after crediting). Once expired, unused Bonus funds and any associated winnings that have not been converted to real money will be forfeited.
- Real money vs Bonus money: Unless specified otherwise, real-money funds are usually staked before Bonus funds. Detailed mechanics are described in the bonus policy and may differ for particular Promotions.
Prohibited bonus practices and combining offers
- Abuse and prohibited strategies: The following, among others, may be treated as Bonus abuse and may lead to forfeiture of Bonuses and associated winnings, as well as Account closure:
- opening multiple Accounts to claim the same Promotion;
- placing low- or zero-risk Bets (for example, betting simultaneously on all outcomes or using hedging strategies) to clear wagering;
- using VPNs, proxies, or false details to circumvent geographic or eligibility restrictions;
- transferring funds between Accounts for the purpose of exploiting Promotions.
- Combining promotions: Unless a Promotion expressly allows it, Bonuses cannot be combined or "stacked" with other Bonuses. If multiple Promotions could apply, the Operator may determine the order of application or which Promotion prevails.
- Bonus adjustments: The Operator may withdraw or adjust a Promotion prospectively, or correct obvious errors in promotional materials, subject to Applicable Law and without affecting rights already accrued by you under a previously accepted Promotion.
Payments & Withdrawals
Deposits
- Payment Methods: The Website may support deposits via credit/debit cards, Interac or other bank transfer solutions, e-wallets, vouchers and, where offered, certain cryptocurrencies or payment intermediaries. The exact methods available to you depend on your location, device, and the Operator's current arrangements with payment providers.
- Ownership and authorization: You may only use Payment Methods that are registered in your own name and for which you are fully authorized. The Operator may request proof of ownership and may decline deposits from third-party accounts.
- Deposit limits and fees: Minimum and maximum deposit amounts, together with any deposit fees, are displayed in the cashier. The Operator may change limits in line with risk management, responsible gambling and regulatory rules. Currency exchange or intermediary bank fees may be charged by your bank or provider.
Withdrawals
- Withdrawal rules: Subject to these Terms, you may request withdrawal of available real-money balances using the Payment Methods offered in the cashier. The Operator may, where possible, return funds to the same method used for deposit, in accordance with AML/CTF obligations and payment-provider rules.
- Processing times: The Operator aims to process withdrawal requests within a reasonable period (for example, within a few Business Days), but exact processing times vary by Payment Method, KYC status and regulatory checks. Additional time may be required by banks or intermediaries, which is beyond the Operator's control.
- Verification and limits: The Operator may request updated KYC/AML documentation before processing withdrawals, particularly for large or cumulative amounts, or where prior documentation is incomplete or outdated. Maximum withdrawal amounts per transaction, day, week or month may apply, as disclosed in the cashier and subject to Applicable Law.
Refunds, chargebacks and adjustments
- Refund policy: Deposits are generally non-refundable once used to place Bets. In exceptional circumstances (for example, technical failure or duplicate transactions), the Operator may, at its discretion and subject to regulatory constraints, refund deposits or adjust balances.
- Chargebacks: If you initiate a chargeback or reversal, the Operator may suspend or close your Account, recover any amounts that have been improperly withdrawn, and report the matter to relevant authorities and databases. Any fees incurred as a result of chargebacks may be deducted from your balance.
- Error corrections: If funds are credited to your Account in error (including winnings from void Bets, mis-priced markets, or technical issues), such amounts remain the property of the Operator. You must notify the Operator and not withdraw or use those funds. The Operator may reverse erroneous credits and adjust your balance accordingly.
Limitation of Liability
Operator responsibilities
- Service provision: The Operator will use reasonable care and skill to provide the Website and Games in accordance with these Terms, its MGA and AGCO/iGaming Ontario licences, and other applicable regulatory obligations. This includes taking reasonable steps to ensure that Games operate fairly and that results are recorded correctly by the Operator's systems.
- Security and integrity: The Operator implements reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect your data and funds and to prevent unauthorized access, fraud and cheating. However, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Exclusions and limitations
- Technical failures: To the maximum extent permitted by Applicable Law, the Operator is not liable for:
- any loss or damage arising from interruptions, delays, failures or errors in the Website or Games caused by your equipment, your internet connection, third-party systems, or events outside the Operator's reasonable control;
- any incompatibility between the Website and your hardware, software or configuration; or
- any viruses, distributed denial-of-service attacks or other harmful material arising from your failure to maintain adequate security measures.
- Indirect losses: The Operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including loss of profits, loss of opportunity, business interruption or loss of data, even if foreseeable.
- Maximum liability: Subject to the paragraph below, the Operator's total aggregate liability to you arising from any single Bet, Game or series of related events shall not exceed the amount of the stake or Bet placed by you and actually received by the Operator in relation to the relevant transaction.
- Non-excludable liability: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Applicable Law, including mandatory consumer protection rules.
Intellectual Property Rights
- Ownership: All intellectual property rights in and to the Website, including text, graphics, logos, trademarks (including "Magic Red"), domain names (including magicred-play.ca and magicred.com), software, audio-visual material and underlying technology, are owned by the Operator, its group companies, licensors and game providers.
- Limited licence: The Operator grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Website and Games solely for your private, non-commercial entertainment and strictly in accordance with these Terms.
- Restrictions: You must not, without prior written consent:
- copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, display, modify, translate or create derivative works from any part of the Website or Games;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to discover the source code of the software used in connection with the Website, except where such actions are expressly permitted by mandatory law and then only after providing prior written notice to the Operator;
- remove, obscure or alter any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices.
- Third-party IP: Third-party trademarks, logos and content (including those of game studios, payment providers and regulators) remain the property of their respective owners and may not be used without permission.
Privacy & Data Protection
- Privacy policy: The collection, use, storage and sharing of your personal data are governed by the Operator's privacy policy, as updated from time to time and made available on the Website and/or on the official Magic Red site. That privacy policy forms an integral part of these Terms and you should read it carefully before using the Website.
- Legal bases and safeguards: The Operator processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, which may include Maltese legislation, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and, where applicable, Canadian privacy laws such as the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Appropriate technical and organizational measures are implemented to protect your personal data.
- Regulatory sharing: Your data may be shared with regulators (including MGA, AGCO, iGaming Ontario and other competent authorities), payment providers, fraud-prevention services and group companies where necessary to operate the Website, comply with legal obligations and protect the integrity of Games.
Changes to Terms
- Updates: The Operator may amend these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in law, regulatory guidance, product offerings, group structure or technological developments. The latest version will always be available on the Website and will indicate the effective date.
- Notification: In the case of material changes, the Operator will take reasonable steps to notify you, which may include e-mail, on-site banners, pop-up messages, or requiring renewed acceptance before you can continue playing.
- Acceptance: By continuing to use the Website after the updated Terms take effect, you are deemed to have accepted them. If you do not agree with any change, you must stop using the Website and may request closure of your Account and withdrawal of any eligible real-money balance.
- Ontario-specific requirements: For Ontario Players, any changes will also comply with AGCO/iGaming Ontario requirements. Where there is a conflict between different versions applicable to Ontario and non-Ontario Players, the Ontario-specific terms prevail for Ontario Players.
Termination & Suspension
- By you: You may terminate your Account at any time by contacting customer support or using the available account management tools. Subject to AML/CTF and regulatory checks, the Operator will pay out any withdrawable real-money balance to a suitable Payment Method.
- By the Operator (suspension): The Operator may suspend your Account (in whole or in part) where it reasonably believes that:
- you have breached these Terms or any applicable policy;
- you have engaged in fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, Bonus abuse or other prohibited conduct;
- there are chargebacks, payment irregularities or disputes involving your Payment Methods;
- you have requested self-exclusion or exhibited indicators of problem gambling; or
- such action is required by law, regulation or the request of a competent authority.
- By the Operator (termination): The Operator may close your Account by giving notice (where reasonably possible) in the circumstances above, or where it ceases to provide the Website in your jurisdiction. In cases of serious breach or legal requirement, termination may be immediate and without prior notice.
- Effect of termination: On termination, your right to use the Website and any active Bonuses will cease. Subject to Applicable Law, AML/CTF requirements, regulatory holds and any rights of set-off, the Operator will pay out any remaining withdrawable real-money balance. Funds that are the proceeds of fraud, crime or other unlawful activity, or that are otherwise subject to legal or regulatory restraint, may be frozen, confiscated or paid to the relevant authority.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
Applicable law
- Non-Ontario Canadian Players: For Players located in Canada but outside Ontario, these Terms and your relationship with the Operator are governed by the laws of Malta, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules of your province or territory of residence.
- Ontario Players: For Players located in Ontario, these Terms and your relationship with the Operator are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, together with the applicable rules and standards issued by AGCO and iGaming Ontario.
Dispute resolution
- Internal complaints: If you have a complaint about the Website or the Operator, you must first contact customer support with full details. The Operator will acknowledge and investigate your complaint and aim to provide a final response within a reasonable timeframe.
- External escalation for Non-Ontario Canadian Players: If your complaint relates to services provided under the MGA licence and remains unresolved to your satisfaction, you may contact the MGA's online gaming support service via https://mga.org.mt/support/online-gaming-support/, subject to MGA procedures and jurisdiction.
- External escalation for Ontario Players: If your complaint relates to services regulated by AGCO/iGaming Ontario and is not resolved through the Operator's process, you may escalate via the AGCO complaint process at https://agco.ca/i-have-complaint, or as otherwise directed by iGaming Ontario.
- Court jurisdiction: Subject to any mandatory dispute resolution processes prescribed by regulators, and without restricting your statutory rights:
- Non-Ontario Canadian Players agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malta for disputes arising from these Terms; and
- Ontario Players agree to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario for disputes arising from these Terms.

The Operator aims to provide clear and accessible communication channels for both customer support and legal/regulatory correspondence.

- Primary contact is via the help or support section of the Website at magicred-play.ca, which may include live chat and/or e-mail forms.
- You may also access Magic Red support channels via the official site at https://magicred.com, which publishes up-to-date customer support contact options for Players, including Canadian Players.
- Legal and regulatory correspondence:
- The Operator's legal and compliance contact details (including the relevant e-mail address, telephone number and registered/mailing address of Aspire Global International LTD and the Ontario-licensed entity) are published from time to time in the legal and footer sections of the Magic Red websites, including https://magicred.com/info/terms/. Those published details are incorporated into these Terms by reference and should be used for formal legal notices and regulatory communications.
- Group and investor information:
- Information about the Operator's parent and ultimate parent companies, including NeoGames S.A. and Aristocrat Leisure Limited, can be found at https://ir.neogames.com and https://aristocrat.com/investors/. Such information is provided for transparency about group backing and does not alter the legal identity of the Operator under these Terms.
For the avoidance of doubt, where there is any inconsistency between contact details reproduced or summarized on the Website and those published in the legal sections of the official Magic Red sites, the latter shall prevail as of the relevant date.
